Patrick also spoke of some "new usage" of Balthza factions, so since zaishen chest is something associated to PvP, i guess Gaile is referring to some new additional funs to PvP

keyword she used was "cool" though. So thinking in the light of cool it could be something to do with GWEN specifically as opposed to some cool item. But, gawd I hope it's not something like hair dresser or name changing or silly stuff like that.

She said a name changer was never going to happen, because it lead to the possibility of scams and exploits. But a hair changer would be AWESOME.

And one person's definition of cool could be another's definition of sucks like whoa.

People need to go to the link where Galie said that. She said it IN RESPONSE to the Zaizhian Chest thread. Therefore, it isn't about hair stylist/other crap (stop spreading rumors about "stuff I heard might be in the game"). Its clearly in response to the Zaizhian Chest, which was added accidentally, but clearly had been programed into existance (ie, it may not have worked as it is supposed to, but a.net did make the thing in the first place).

Maybe to increase activity in some areas of the game by allowing X amount of faction to be traded in for using the chest ?

I for one would like to see more in that regard aside from AB and Ft Aspenwood. Jade Quarry isn't even something to do except a point on the map anymore.

I think it's likely to do with the Zaishen chest, but I really hope it's changes to FA and Jade quarry. Infact I bet it's to do with PvP to stop the decline in serious PvP players.

well seeing as wintersday is coming up I would point more towards that than anything else.....and in another thread she spoke about the design a weapon weapons coming out soon as well......wouldnt get anyones hopes up.

Hmm...I have a feeling that its just going to be the Design-a-weapon contest winners weapons will be placed into the game.

It'd take me some time to search for it, but I remember her saying that maybe they'd be coming after Christmas. How long after Christmas.....who knows....
